We used CIL Woodcare Ultra Premium in a semi-transparent color called “Traditional Walnut”.
The real pineapple juice gave it just the right touch of fresh fruity flavor and made it taste truly tropical. We tried some coconut as a garnish.
As much as it looks kind of fun, the texture of the coconut with the Jello wasn’t so great. The pineapple would have been perfect on top! That is, if we hadn’t have eaten it all first…Our walks down by the creek lately have been beautiful..
The wheat fields are turning a nice gold color and getting ready for harvest time..There are all kinds of wild flowers growing along the banks of the creek, which is huge because of all the rain this year.. I’ve been in love with this one flower (weed) since last year.
It has these nice thick leaves, and it seems to smell pretty amazing too from what I can tell when we walk by a whole bunch of them..
The flowers form in these neat little sphere shapes and I just think they’re the greatest thing ever.We found the hot glue worked better than a staple gun for this because some of the fabrics were thicker than others and needed a little extra smooshing in places to make them look really crisp.. We attached all the letters with hot glue and then the whole projects was ready to shine!.
Side note: Do you see the new nursery floors there?Do you see them?!
I love them soooo much!A tutorial on that project is coming soon!.
